Seppo will be used in all Yázigi’s language schools for English learning lessons. Yázigi is one of Brazil’s most traditional language teaching franchises, founded in 1950 in São Paulo. It has 290 language schools in 25 of the 27 Brazilian states and territories. The network offers English and Spanish courses.
Yázigi is part of Grupo Multi, the largest provider of adult English language training in Brazil. The concern was acquired by the British media and education group Pearson in 2013 to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing Latin American country.
Brazil is one of the world’s largest English Language Learning markets with the English Language Training market estimated to be worth £2bn (R$7bn) and a total of 2.8 million students enrolled across children, teenage and adult age groups.
