Seppo's Game of The Month in May takes families to nature walking tours
Seppo's Game of the Month in May is Anni Laitinen's game Nature2030. This game is related to a two-year Finnish school sustainability program that has turned students as environmental scientists who have researched ways to improve the state of their nearby environments.

With Nature2030 Anni Laitinen activated also families in the program, and in May parents in Kuopio have had a chance to take gamified walking tours with their kids, and look at their nearby environment from a little different perspective. Besides teaching about different everyday things that affect the nearby nature, this game encourages parents and kids to move together, and as part of the game, they are to report, how much they moved during their gameplay. Good thinking, Anni! Benefits for environment and health!

The open game in Kuopio will get continuation in the fall term, so if you missed it this month, keep your eyes open when schools start again in August. And for the rest of you, the game can be found from Seppo library in Finnish and in English, so if you want to set up a challenge in your region, game on!

We think Anni has started a movement here, are you with us?
