Adding media content
1. How can I add media to a task description?
An instructor can add different types of media into a task description. This includes videos, images and audio. Adding media is done in the task editor. Add a new task or open an existing one in edit mode. In the top bar of the text editor field, click the corresponding button of a media type you would like to add to the task.

2. Images
Here’s how to add different types of media:
Click the image button in the top bar of the text editor.
Browse for an image from your device.
Navigate to the General tab to configure the width and height of the image or if you want to add it via a source link.
Remember to save.

More about images!
Seppo automatically resizes images that are too large to ensure they display properly on the player’s device. However, to cover the full width of the task description area, images should have a minimum width of 330px for mobile devices and 515px for laptops and computers.
3. Videos
Click the video button in the top bar of the text editor.
Choose how you want to add a video using the Upload, General, or Embed tabs.
Save your changes.
- Upload – Select a video from your device.
- General – Add a video using a source link and adjust its width and height.
- Embed – Paste an embed code into the text field.

Know this about YouTube videos!
For YouTube videos, simply paste the URL link directly into the task description. The video will automatically displayed as a video player instead of a link.
4. Audio
Click the audio button in the top bar of the text editor.
Choose how you want to add audio using the Upload, Record and General tabs.
Save your changes.
- Upload – Select an audio file from your device.
- Record – Create an audio recording directly with your device
- General – Add an audio from a source link
