Game story and rules

How to add story and rules to a game

Adding a story to the game is a good way to increase the level of engagement. A good story leads students to the theme of the game and helps create a safe and inspiring atmosphere in the game. You create the story in the game editor’s Build tab > Story and rules section. There you can also set up rules for the game.

In the Story and rules section, you’ll find three text editor fields:

1

Game story

2

Game story ending

3

Rules

Magic wand

Best practices and tips!

The Game story and Rules are displayed to players at the start of the game, providing context and guidelines. The Game story ending, however, appears only after the player completes the final task. This is a great way to conclude the story or deliver a final message about the game’s completion.

You can use any of these sections independently or combine them to enhance the player’s experience. Make sure to save your changes.
