Playing the game again

How do I play the same game again?

After a Seppo game has ended and been paused by the instructor, it can always be restarted and played again. Previous players and their answers will remain in the game. If you want to play with new participants and without past data, simply create a copy of the game.

How to duplicate a game:

Find the game on your Seppo dashboard.

Click the three-dot menu on the game card.

Select "Duplicate" from the menu.

A copy of the game will appear on your dashboard, with no previous answers or players.

Note: The duplicated game is closed by default and it has a unique PIN & QR code. Its name will include “(copy)”, which can be changed in Game Settings when opened in edit mode.

Why copying a game is useful?

  • Preserve the original game – Keep the original intact while making changes to the copy.
  • Run simultaneous sessions – Multiple groups can play at the same time without overlapping data.
  • Test modifications – Experiment with new tasks or mechanics without affecting the original game.
  • Customize for different audiences – Tailor content, difficulty, or instructions for different players.
  • Reset progress easily – Start fresh without previous players, answers, or scores.
