SAIGE – Seppo’s AI Game Engine
What is SAIGE?
SAIGE is Seppo’s AI Game Engine, built directly into your Seppo dashboard. It helps you turn existing content into a playable learning game quickly, reliably and with full control.
Think of SAIGE as vibe-coding your own game: instead of building everything manually, you guide the game creation process by giving SAIGE instructions. You can do this in several ways — by uploading materials, sharing links, writing prompts or providing a ready-made game script that SAIGE follows exactly.
Creating games with SAIGE
1. Select to create a new with SAIGE
Log in to play.seppo.io as an instructor. From your dashboard, select New Game (SAIGE).
2. Select the game language
Choose the language of your game. This ensures all content and instructions are appropriate for your audience.

3. Add your content
You can create games with SAIGE in multiple ways. Choose the approach that best fits how much material or planning you already have.
Option 1: Use your own materials and ideas
Upload your content and guide SAIGE with a short description.
You can:
-
Upload your own materials (PDF, Word, PowerPoint)
-
Add resource links (URLs)
-
Describe your game idea and target group (for example: onboarding, sales teams, customer support, students)
SAIGE uses these sources together to generate the game, adapting the tone, difficulty, and task design to your audience.
Option 2: Start with an idea only
If you don’t have materials yet, you can simply describe your idea.
Explain:
-
What the game is about
-
Who it is for
-
What kind of experience you want
SAIGE will come up with a game concept and tasks based on your instructions.
Option 3: Use a ready-made game script
If you already have a complete game plan, you can upload it as a game script (Word format).
Use this option if your script already defines:
-
Tasks
-
Story
-
Points
SAIGE will follow the script exactly, creating the tasks, story, and points as written, and putting everything in place for you.
After this, you can generate a game board for the game. When using a game script, you cannot add other materials or links.
💡 If your licence includes the 3D game feature, SAIGE can adapt your content to Seppo’s 3D!

4. Apply a learning lens (optional)
Select a game lens to shape the learning approach. You can also skip this step and return to it later.

5. Review and refine your game with SAIGE
SAIGE first generates game goals based on your inputs.
You can refine the goals by:
-
Editing them using the pen icon next to each goal
-
Removing goals using the delete (×) icon
-
Chatting with SAIGE to describe the changes you want
Once the goals are ready, you can continue to generate the story and tasks.

6. Editing story and task
After the goals are confirmed, SAIGE generates the game story and tasks.

You can refine tasks in two main ways:
-
Quick actions
Use quick actions to make fast improvements, such as clarifying instructions, adjusting difficulty, or refining task wording.

-
Chat with SAIGE
All task editing and deletion is done through the chat. You can ask SAIGE to:-
Edit task content
-
Change task structure or focus
-
Remove tasks entirely
-
💡 Tasks can always be refined in the Seppo editor. Task images and feedback are added there for now — SAIGE is still learning and will pick these up as it evolves.
7. Generating the game board
SAIGE helps you generate a Full HD game board image for your game. You guide the design by choosing the layout and giving instructions — SAIGE takes care of the visuals.
Step 1: Prompt your own or choose from the library

Step 2: Choose the board layout
Select the layout that best fits your game and players:
- Square for both laptop and mobile experience
-
Portrait for mobile-first experiences
-
Landscape for laptops and PC
Step 3: Generate the game board image
SAIGE generates a Full HD game board image based on your game theme and content.
You can:
-
Accept the suggested design
-
Ask SAIGE to generate an alternative
-
Edit the prompt and layout
💡 Clear, simple prompts work best. Describe the setting, mood, and style, not every detail.

8. Publish your game
Before publishing, give your game a clear and descriptive name. The name can still be changed later if needed.
Select Publish to save the game to your private Seppo dashboard. This makes the game available for further editing or for starting play.
After publishing, you can:
-
Drag and place tasks into the desired areas on the game board
-
Add more visuals to tasks or the game board
-
Adjust settings or fine-tune content

SAIGE credits and access
SAIGE uses a dynamic credit system. Credits are consumed based on how much content SAIGE processes and how much you refine the game using SAIGE.
Each game created consumes credits from the total credit amount allocated for your licence. You can continue editing and developing a game as long as you have credits available. A standard SAIGE game can be created using roughly 50-100 credits, but feel free to try how far you can take your ideas!
💡 Important for existing users: Credits are no longer used on a “one game = one credit” basis. All previous credits have been converted to the new system (1 old credit = 100 new credits).
Who can use SAIGE
With school and corporate licences, access to SAIGE is managed by admins.
Admins can:
-
Decide which users in the organisation have access to SAIGE
-
Control who can use SAIGE credits
This helps prevent accidental credit usage and keeps SAIGE use aligned with organisational needs.
If your organisation needs additional SAIGE credits, admins can contact Seppo Sales to upgrade the plan.
