We are in dire need of a learning revolution and Seppo is an EdTech company doing just that. 

By means of our mobile gamification we take learning on the move and help people connect knowledge with their environments. Our solution is research based and globally awarded. We have users in 50+ countries. Now we want to scale up the sales and our impact.


We are seeking to hire a Chief Commercial Officer to sell the revolution and to join our leadership team.

The CCO will be responsible for the development and implementation of our global sales strategy and leading the sales. Responsibilities include designing and building our international sales organization/distributor network and managing it according to best practices.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, experience in advising and contributing to senior level discussions and experience to lead sales and marketing team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of and lead the development of sales strategy

  • Participate in the selection of target markets and segments and plan the appropriate go-to-market methods

  • Build and develop sales and marketing team and distributor network

  • Develop sales targets and metrics and develop the measurement process

  • Lead the process of tactical sales and marketing planning

  • Develop the compensation models for sales representatives and distributors together with the board

  • Participate in the improvement of the sales and marketing concept

Key Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Several years experience of operating at Senior Leadership Level

  • Proven track record in sales

  • Strong experience in running sales organization

  • Ability to lead teams on-site and remotely

  • Experience of operating in several international markets

  • Good knowledge of sales and marketing tools

  • Demonstrable ability to manage external and internal relationships

  • Relevant Degree or qualification in Business and/or Sales

Additional Qualifications & Experience:

  • Background from or exposure to education sector or corporate training would be an advantage

  • We appreciate experience and insight of web-based marketing and its role in marketing sales continuum.

You will be working with our qualified and enthusiastic team of ten members. The Seppo HQ is located in Helsinki and ideally you would be working from there, but for a good reason other options can also be considered.
